Spirit of Caring: From Clinic to the Community
We believe serving and giving back to our community in good and trying times. Every year The Doctors Clinic
actively supports various health and fitness causes throughout our local Kitsap County communities.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, our teams have worked hard to maintain our patients' health and safety, including donating items like hand sanitizer, chapsticks and sunscreens to local necessity drives and making homemade cloth masks for our fellow administrative and non-patient facing staff to wear, and for medical staff when other Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is not available.
These efforts have expanded beyond our walls, with hundreds of masks being delivered to CHI Franciscan's Harrison Emergency Room and several assisted living and nursing home facilities across Kitsap County.
Girls on the Run
Annually, we sponsor the local Girls on the Run WestSound council events throughout Kitsap County. Harnessing the power of their inner strength, participants learn to recognize and celebrate what makes them unique individuals thorughout a 10-week program. Girls on the Run helps girls in third - eighth grades develop essential skills while giving them a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness.
Relay for Life benefiting American Cancer Society
Every year, we put together a team of our staff, family and friends to help raise money to donate to the fight against cancer. Not only are we an annual sponsor of the event, but throughout the year our The Doctors Clinic team celebrates, remembers and fights back against cancer at small fundraising events and at the Central Kitsap/Bremerton Relay For Life event in June.
In addition, The Doctors Clinic supports the following organizations:
Kitsap County Medical Society Alliance
Kitsap Economic Development Alliance
Olympic College Foundation
Local food banks
