Communication is exceptionally important within the surgeon-patient relationship. I aim to ensure my patients understand my recommendations and all treatment options available to them, including nonoperative options when appropriate. I believe in honest, straightforward communication, which continues before, during, and after surgery with my patients and their loved ones.

In the operating room, the only thing that matters to me during that time is the patient in front of me who has entrusted me with their care. I take that responsibility very seriously and strive to provide meticulous, thoughtful, and safe surgical care for every patient.
